  Arising of a marketing idea for the onlineshop of www.spielmaterial.de in 2007, a comic series was created, featuring the game inventor Paul, his wife Petra and the two teenagers Pia and Patrick. The protagonists in the true sense of the meaning being pawns, i.e. game pieces without legs.

The adventures of the Pawn Family are published on a monthly basis and can be seen on the entry page of www.spielmaterial.de or their own pages.
